Our AI journey began with the 2016 launch of Zeblok Scientific, an IoT company that created a way to diagnose Parkinson’s Disease by developing sensors in shoes to detect micro movements. In developing the AI app to connect the sensors to the analytics, we realized that there was no easy or cost-effective way to do so. This, combined with the realization that an AI Platform-as-a-Service is more scalable than a device company, and has greater market potential, led to the creation of Zeblok Computational. Incorporated in September 2019, Zeblok Computational Inc. is headquartered at the Long Island High Tech Incubator, New York Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT) at Stony Brook University, with a sales office in Short Hills, NJ.


Our proprietary orchestration layer software supports multi-cloud, multi-class scheduling, allowing the simple multi-user Ai-WorkStation to scale seamlessly to high-performance computing (HPC) workloads needed for substantial AI training. It permits on-demand usage of GPU capacities for AI algorithm development. It provides a rapid prototyping environment to promote AI models as APIs for rapid consumption into mission-critical enterprise processes. The highest quality security protocols ensure the integrity of data and of your intellectual property. Users have access to curated AI/ML algorithms through the Zeblok Intelligence Marketplace to build products that include an algorithm for an additional monthly fee, while securing the intellectual property of their end product.

Zeblok Scientific creates effective solutions for two principal challenges of our time:

  • Lowering the cost of pharmaceutical development through smarter real-world data collection introduced earlier in the life cycle of the journey from molecule to medicine.

  • Improving outcomes, safety, and quality of care for our seniors in the face of an increasing senior population and the inevitably adverse rationing of care providers for seniors.

Both challenges can be resolved with one platform from Zeblok Scientific, rooted in real-world, real-time data collection, where we design and build world-class hardware and software.

Zeblok Scientific integrates proximity, biomechanical, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and sensor technologies into a single, reliable, 24 × 7 middleware platform that is robust, efficient, and completely cloud-managed. This backbone becomes an integrator of a wide array of multifunctional sensors and devices—developed both by Zeblok Scientific as well as third parties—which is efficiently scaled across deployments in both small and large physical spaces. Embedded technology provides consistency across various device classes and form factors, such as beacons, shoes, cameras, other wearables, smart pads, and pendants. Such devices communicate with Zeblok Scientific gateways through Wi-Fi, ZigBee, and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)-based wireless technologies or directly through IoT Mobile-to-Mobile (M2M) cellular technologies. Zeblok gateways, in turn, securely connect to the Zeblok cloud-based platform through Wi-Fi, 3G GSM, and 4G LTE, thereby enabling adaptive remote management as well as extensive analytics of data streams never before possible.

Zeblok Scientific employs low-cost, standards-based, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components to create a suite of sensors able to continuously and wirelessly monitor motion, acceleration, foot plantar pressure, EKG, heart rate, respiratory rate, and skin-surface temperature, integrating such data streams into the Zeblok platform for comprehensive real-time analysis. This allows sensor fusion of events both at the edge as well as in the cloud, creating unique and transformational customer experiences augmented through M2M solutions from Zeblok Scientific. We are starting with healthcare but the core Zeblok Scientific platform is easily implemented within any industry which can benefit from data streams collected through smart and connected devices.
